Jadoo Power Systems Inc. has a deal with veteran defense contractor General Atomics and British defense company QinetiQ Group, PLC to
develop lightweight fuel cells for military equipment.
An Air Mobility Lab initiative could "energize" new possibilities for aeromedical evacuations in the future.
Hydrogen Hybrid Mobility is a start-up company in a niche market that gave away its first two products. Not much of a business plan.
Cars and spacecraft aren't the only things being powered by fuel cells these days. Today, when somebody says, 'fuel cell', you probably think, 'fuel cell car'. In reality, there are many more non-automotive applications.
Fuel-cell maker Jadoo Power Systems Inc. has promoted its vice president of business development to president and chief executive officer, a week after the Folsom company received another round of financing.
Velocity Venture Capital has made its largest-ever investment -- a stake in Jadoo Power Inc. of Folsom, a
developer of portable fuel cells.
Mention hydrogen fuel cells,
and most people envision hydrogen-powered cars as an alternative to the gas-guzzling and polluting internal
combustion engine. In fact, many much smaller
applications also could benefit from this nonpolluting technology.
Fuel Cells have been around for some time but their adoption has been hindered by cost and reliability, but according to US-based Jadoo Power that is all changing.

Fire Rescue International in Dallas was a showcase for new technology and Jadoo Power, Folsom Calif., added its products to that line-up as well.
Fuel-cell technology has been in the news for the last few years, especially as an
alternative to that
gas-guzzling, pollution-causing internal combustion engine
under the hood of your car. Jadoo Power, founded in
2001, is in the business of developing fuel-cell solutions. While the company's
product plans scale all the way up to powering houses with this technology,
Jadoo Power chose to target the professional video camera market for its N-Gen
fuel cell.
Computer security is not a new issue. It has been around since the integration of mainframes,
minicomputers and personal computing within our business environment. Consequently, the need
for security should NOT be a surprise. As the headlines above indicate, the potential loss can be
just equipment or just the data or both. Losing encompasses the replacement cost as well as the
potential loss of confidential information.
